  6. It's half way between Bridge of Allan and Stirling, two nice towns. It's off a busy main road, and surrounded by great transport links. There are a number of busses from town into the university, and there's two nearby train stations (Bridge of Allan and Stirling), which have links to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Falkirk and the North.

  7. I've sent an application to Stirling but I haven't heard back. Yeah, I had an interview with them, just waiting to hear back from that, I think they are pretty slow though compared to other university's. I am in the same position. I also applied for Philosophy back in November and Stirling is the last university I am waiting on for a reply.

  8. 12. Hi, I just started Stirling uni as a mature student. I am doing history and philosophy and have picked up English as extra subject. So far the uni (lecturers, library staff and student support services etc) have all been fantastic. Everyone is approachable and encourages you to approach them with any questions or issues.

  9. Stirling2014. Most of what the previous poster has said was useful but just to clarify a couple of things. The designated nursing accommodation at the moment is indeed Alexander Court but from September it will be Union Street in Stirling City Centre.

  10. Now which one to consider, please suggest. According to this, Aberdeen is 11th in the UK for Business and Stirling is 18th. And just overall, Aberdeen is obviously not one of the top UK unis, but its ranking and outlook is a lot better than Stirling's. I’m study business in Aberdeen uni as well.
