After visiting the centre of Oudenaarde we crossed the lift bridge over the Scheldt River (at the end of Tussenbruggen) to have a look at some interesting buildings on the right bank: the House de Lalaing and the Gothic Revival Palace of Justice to the left of the bridge, the Church of Our Lady of Pamele and Maagdendale Abbey to the right.
