Jun 15, 2023 · Mr Wong will be appointed Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court with effect from 1 August 2023. With these appointments and reappointment in 2023, the Supreme Court will have a total of 28 Judges (including the Chief Justice, and four Justices of the Court of Appeal), one Judicial Commissioner, six Senior Judges and 19 International Judges.
The Supreme Court is made up of the Court of Appeal and the High Court, and hears both civil and criminal matters. Led by the Honourable the Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon, the Supreme Court Bench consists of the Judges of Appeal, Judges and Judicial Commissioners of the Supreme Court.
