Jun 28, 2022 · Summary. After having a whale of a time on Dream Cruises’ cruise to nowhere, we were pretty bummed when it ceased operations in March 2022. Thankfully, it has returned under a new name — Resorts World Cruises! To find out what’s new and what’s back, we hopped on its inaugural cruise on 15 June 2022.

- Things to Do on Genting Dream. If you ever wondered whether you’d be short of things to do on Genting Dream, the answer is “no”. The good news is that it is up to you to decide what type of holiday you wish to have.
- Family-friendly Activities for All. Pool Deck. The Main Pool Deck on Deck 16 is the centre of outdoor fun on the ship. A DJ booth pumps out the music to keep the lively atmosphere going around the main pool and four jacuzzis.
- Live it Up. Classes. Want to try something new while onboard? Attend a workshop or two while onboard. On our cruise, there was a Brazilian Carnival Dance class where you could pick up some new moves.

Nov 7, 2023 · Genting Dream is one of two luxury cruise ships operated by Resorts World Cruises, a company currently based in Singapore and led by Malaysian entrepreneur Lim Kok Thay, who also owns Genting Group – the company that manages the only casino in Malaysia.
Considering that a cruise package is all inclusive (full-board), this is an attractive price that is much cheaper than a hotel staycation in Singapore. This is my review of Resorts World Cruises Genting Dream which also berthed at Port Dickson and Penang during my sailing.
