Roy Ngerng Yi Ling [1] ( traditional Chinese: 鄞義林; simplified Chinese: 鄞义林; pinyin: Yín Yìlín; born 9 May 1981), is a Singaporean blogger and activist. In 2015, Ngerng was found guilty of defaming Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
Why wouldn’t Roy be angry when over a very petty matter - that of making some comments on his facebook on Cooling Off Day, his flat was raided by a team of police officers and his computers and electronic devices confiscated. He was also interrogated for hours at the police station.
