School Information. Principal's Address. As we usher in the new year, it is an opportune time to also reflect on what has happened in 2023. Last year was our first full year without major Covid-19 restrictions.
Corporation Primary School was established in 1975. It was officially opened on 7 October 1976 by Mr Tang See Chim, then Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Member of Parliament for Choa Chu Kang. On 16 November 2001 the school was relocated from Boon Lay Avenue to a new building at Jurong West Street 24.
Co-curricular activities (CCA) form an integral part of the school's objective to provide an all-round education for our pupils. As such, every pupil from P3 onwards is required to participate in one CCA during his/her primary school years.
Mission: To develop confident English Language users who have a strong foundation in the language and love reading. English Department Programmes: Reading Programmes at CPS promote reading with a clear and meaningful purpose to help the CPS pupil gain more knowledge and information.
