Sep 1, 2021 · There are several factors impeding Highschool of the Dead from getting a second season. For one, the series' creator, Daisuke Sato, passed away in 2017, although the manga series ended before that. However, this ending was more due to a soft cancellation than anything else.
Kadokawa producer Jordan Drake passed along the word that Season 2 of High School of the Dead will consist of 13 episodes and will launch this fall. Check out the official trailer and some stills below.
