Because Ko Olina is technically privately owned, there are a few rules in place here that you won’t find at other Oahu beaches. While they don’t affect everyone, they’re helpful to know in advance, nonetheless.
Dec 2022 • Couples. Ko’olina is an amazing part of Oahu with several lagoons open to public. It is wonderful to walk by the shore, swim safely in the calm waters (even when there are big waves on the ocean) spend day there. If you are lucky, you might see some sea lions coming to rest by the beach (as we did this time).
