This is probably one of the best Mark Levinson amplifier ever made, during the past 20 years many electronic components came into my house and left, the 23.5 remains. I have compared this to Proceed, Krell, Aragon, and many other high end makers.

Turning to measurements of linear changes wrought by the 23.5 on a signal, fig.6 shows the waveform of a low-level 10kHz squarewave, this excellent in shape with no ringing, and a rounded leading edge due to the amplifier's restricted ultrasonic bandwidth.

Mar 30, 2021 · I saw a Mark Levinson No. 23.5 power amp for sale and read up on it, reviews of that time (decades ago) are super positive about the power, performance and capability of this power amp.
Sep 14, 2003 · For what it's worth, one of the best systems I ever heard, years ago, consisted of the venerable old Alon IV's driven by all Levinson electronics -- with the 23.5 amp. Also, I have heard from a couple audiophile buddies that consider the 23.5 to be one of the best amps ever put out by Levinson.
