"Mirrors" is a song by Natalia Kills. It is the eighth track featured on her debut studio album, Perfectionist. It was released as the album's lead single on August 10, 2010.
A trailer for the music video was released on November 22, 2010, after being announced on November 20.[1][2] The music video was released on December 1, 2010 and on December 15, 2010, on iTunes.[3]
Teddy first tweeted lyrics to this song on January 20, 2010: "Tighten the handcuffs..."[5] She later tweeted that Prince "makes [her] love grenade explode!" in April.[6]
On July 25, 2010, Teddy teased, "Turning the lights out... Tighten the handcuffs... And the Mirrors gona fog tonight..."[7] The next day, a preview of this song was shared on cherrytreerecords.com,[8] and she tweeted, "i'll make your love grenade explode."[9]
The song was performed for the first known time on September 8, 2010, at the Prince Peter Fashion Show.
