Shohreh Aghdashloo (Persian: شهره آغداشلو, pronounced [ʃohˈɾe ɒɢdɒʃˈluː]; née Vaziri-Tabar (وزیریتبار); born May 11, 1952) is an Iranian actress. She has received various accolades, including a Primetime Emmy Award and a Satellite Award , in addition to a nomination for an Academy Award .
In the 1970s at age 20, she achieved nationwide stardom in her homeland of Iran, starring in some prominent pictures such as The Report (1977) directed by the renowned Abbas Kiarostami, which won critics awards at the Moscow Film Festival.
