On 1 January 2006 the municipality had 13,347 inhabitants. The total area is 61.55 km², giving a population density of 217 inhabitants per km².

  6. Loading… The Castle of Beloeil stands behind its moats and gardens in Hainaut for the last eight centuries. This vast stately home of the Princes de Ligne began life as a medieval fortress; over the course of centuries it has been transformed into a country home.

  7. Until October 1, 2023, the Château de Beloeil will host a new scenography: an immersive experience showing visitors the defining moments in the history of Maison de Ligne as well as Belgium and Europe.
