Cindy Cowan (born May 7, 1959, [citation needed] Miami, Florida ,) is an American film producer, songwriter, and actor. Cowan graduated from Tulane University and attended graduate courses toward a master's degree in psychology at Harvard.
Cindy Cowan is an Emmy-winning, Oscar-nominated producer who co-founded Initial Entertainment Group and Cindy Cowan Entertainment. She has produced films such as Traffic, Red Lights, Smiley, and Miracle on 42nd Street, and is also involved in TV, unscripted, and humanitarian projects.
