Craig McNamara is the son of Robert McNamara, the former Secretary of Defense and architect of the Vietnam War. He is a sustainable farmer, the founder of the Center for Land-Based Learning, and the author of a memoir about his family and his journey.
Craig McNamara came of age in the political tumult and upheaval of the late ‘60s. While Craig would grow up to take part in anti-war demonstrations, his father, Robert McNamara, was John F. Kennedy's Secretary of Defense and the architect of the Vietnam War.
