Eldar Einarson (født 8. mai 1947) er en norsk filmskaper og forfatter. Etter fullført maskinisteksamen mønstret han av som sjømann på slutten av 1960-tallet for å begynne som scenearbeider/skuespiller ved Scene 7 og Riksteatret. Fra 1972 til 1982 lagde han over tretti dokumentarfilmer for NRK.
