Apr 21, 2024 · Erika Ishii on "How Did This Get Made" podcast. Holy shit. Listening to HDTGM right now, recent episode "Samurai Cop LIVE". Erika is in the crowd and asks a deep-dive question at the 1 hr, 7 minute mark. She also gets a follow-up comment, which is great. Super fun for me as a long-time HDTGM fan to hear her voice pop up, AND nail a great question.
Jul 21, 2022 · ADMIN MOD. Erika's Over the Top Reactions are Super Annoying. She literally like scream laughs and has the most obviously over-exagerated reactions to everything. Ik the cast plays up stuff on like natural 20s and shes probably just trying to bring energy to the show, but it really just got on my nerves how loud and obnoxious she was constantly.
Sep 24, 2022 · Erika Ishii Appreciation Thread. Erika is the MVP of Dust imo. It's hard to fit into an established party but she pulled it off. She created her own badass moments, like her description of her demon form in the bloodsmoke. She seized onto the emotional beats, like Lulu's confession to Lorelei and her one-on-one with Augustus.

Erika's ultra-chill vibe ( and the pathos that came with it) in that series was a memorable feature. Just started MaM, and it's cool to see she can go fully in the opposite direction.

Dec 15, 2022 · Erika Ishii, in every other TTRPG show i've ever seen her, is a fantastic roleplayer and really leans into her characters, sometimes to a fault. Like her character Annabelle in LA by night, who was designed to showcase a stubborn person that just about refuses to learn/grow, but breaks down when reality finally catches up.
