Father Vojtech (Czech: Páter Vojtěch) is a 1936 Czech drama film directed by Martin Frič. It is a remake of the 1929 film also called Father Vojtech (Czech: Páter Vojtěch), which in turn was based on the 1902 novel "Páter Vojtěch : vesnický příběh" written by Jan Klecanda. It was released on 18 December 1936 in Czechoslovakia.
The first movie Martin Fric directed and it stars his pal and another famous Czechoslovakia face Carl Lamac. A troubled romance as the Father falls for a girl he can not have. Hardly the most spectacular romances, but there are plenty of nice scenes that sets the mood.

Vojtech still thinks of his Frantina while he is in the seminary. The latter returns to her home village and finds a new home at Vojtech's father's mill. Vojtech has been ordained as a priest in the meantime and, on returning home, discovers that Frantina has married the miller.
