Feb 12, 2023 · Frank Bough, National Treasure, National Disgrace C5. Interesting enough but 30 minutes of material stretched out to 90. Channel 5 are really excelling with rubbish documentaries on sat night. Absolute chewing gum TV, but great for a mindless 90 minutes.

Mar 31, 2024 · The 2024 UK General Election - Thread -. Well at least he wasn't as square as people thought. Sadly, though, his coke and hanky spanky destroyed Frank, though more so the women who outed him for momey, and his career never recovered. I can remember him in 1979 and 1983.
Oct 25, 2020 · Frank Bough has Died. Remember him on Grandstand - also presenting the first BBC Breakfast TV show alongside Selina Scott. Shame I used to love Grandstand in the 80s. Surprised he was only 87 although he did always look older than he was. First Breakfast Show 17th Jan 1983 3 years before l left school.
Anyone know why Frank Bough was unable to be present at the 25 year BBC Breakfast Show 'celebration special' today? :confused:
Oct 25, 2020 · From sport, to news, to travel, Frank was a reliable pair of hands for the BBC. To the extent he was the man the BBC picked to launch their Breakfast show in the early 80s. Had a bit of a scandal, which all but ended his career, but, for folk of my age, a familiar TV personality. RIP Frank.

Jul 13, 2012 · Frank Bough last appeared on a BBC Four documentary looking back on 'Nationwide' a few years ago, and appeared to be happy and in good health. A casual acquaintance was working on the production of the programme, and he said he took a young lady in her late teens, who was on work experience, to Frank's house.
