While Max is visiting 99 and the twins at the hospital, the two CONTROL agents are mistaken for a doctor and nurse and kidnapped by henchmen of KAOS killer Big Eddie Littlewho needs to have a bullet removed - a bullet inflicted by none other than Maxwell Smart upon whom Big Ed has worn revenge.

The title is the second referring to the TV series Mission: Impossible. Compare and contrast with Episode #87: "The Impossible Mission".

However Max manages to wound Little as they make their escape, so the gangsters look for a doctor to get the bullet out. They go to the hospital where Max just happens to be visiting the twins and kidnap him and 99 (showing absolutely NO effects from just delivering twins!) to get the bullet out.
