Please note that ASME VIII is also a basic code, but there are numerous other standards applicable in conjunction with ASME VIII.

I'm starting a project where my customer supply the equipment, valves and instruments and the final client supply pipes, fittings, but as my customer supply using DIN/EN standards he must supply also flanges. The problem is weld GOST pipes to EN welding neck flanges due to the difference of diameter.
