Musical artist. Keith John Moon (23 August 1946 [2] – 7 September 1978) was an English musician who was the drummer for the rock band the Who. Regarded as one of the greatest drummers in the history of rock music, [3][4] he was noted for his unique style of playing and his eccentric, often self-destructive behaviour.
Mar 20, 2015 · He didn't use hi-hats much… A unique element to Keith’s (early) set-ups was the lack of hi-hat. He did add a hi-hat in later years, but it wasn’t a big part of his drumset. Predominantly he used a lot of ride and a lot of crash.
