Hollywood is the revived area surrounding the famous sign in Los Angeles. Hollywood is controlled by a powerful group known as the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce (HCC), headed by an ambitious woman known as Heidi. The town is rampant with drug abuse and other ailments. Hollywood is also the primary way to enter Los Feliz, and through it, Griffith.
Once you make your way into town, you will want to make your way to Heidi's House of Pleasure. After speaking with Heidi Hollander and some of the other locals, it will become clear that the town's main troubles are the Salt coming out of Hotel California, and the Slavers who are being sold out of Schwag's.
If you are looking to investigate the slave trade, go to Schwags and speak with Flo. After pressing her for information, she will request that you meet her in the graveyard to speak privately. Flo tells you that Schwag is involved somehow in the slave trade, and that you should confront him.
Return to Schwag's, open the door to his office, and confront him. Inside his safe in his office is Duke Schwag's Ledger, which indicts him as the leader of the slavers. Speak to Flo again, and she will thank you for your aid. This ledger also helps complete an objective for Mistress Veronica in Heidi's Hideaway, which is where you should head next.
Once you bring the evidence to Mistress Veronica, she tells you to bring it next to Heidi herself. Heidi thanks you for your investigation, but will do nothing. When you return to Mistress Veronica, she will thank you, and ask a further favor of you. She admits to being in love with a man she calls the Broken Man (completing a quest for Heidi), who she believes lives in Los Feliz or Griffith. She hasn't seen him in over a month, and is looking for him. She requests your aid in the matter.
If you choose to report back to Heidi about Veronica's being in love, she will fire Veronica and give you a new task: opening the doors to the God's Militia base so that her troops can get inside.
Hotel California is in the northeast part of town.
•In the northwest part of town, outside the Giant Food building, George Lin and his wife Martha have been kicked out of their business by a giant cockroach infestation. They ask you to clear it out, but when you get inside, the roaches are all dead and only a puppy is inside. You need to find the puppy a new home or you can keep it for yourself. Once you help them clear their shop, they will sell to you at a discount and heal you for free.
•Ma Brown, outside the Brown Crown in the southwestern part of town, got shut down by the HCC. She needs you to lean on Officer Lam to get him to allow her to reopen. You can either threaten and fight the Officer, or you can convince him to allow her to reopen peacefully.
•Johnny Maloney needs the beasts in the graveyard to be cleared out so that he can resume digging graves. He'll reward extra if you don't dig up the graves he has there.
•After speaking with Heidi, she will request that you investigate one of her workers named Mistress Veronica, whom she thinks has fallen in love, which would be bad for business.
