Hugh Lewis Lloyd, MBE, (22 April 1923 — 14 July 2008), was a British actor best known for his many appearances in Britcoms of The '60s. After making his start in acting with ENSA, he moved on to repertory theatre until 1957.
Hugh Lloyd MBE was an English comic actor on television, radio, stage and film. As well as providing reliable comic support to a wide range of star names during the 1960s, 70s and 80s, he formed a highly popular on-screen partnership with Terry Scott, notably in BBC sitcom Hugh And I.
