James Simone, often referred to as "Supercop," is a retired patrol officer with the Cleveland Division of Police. During his 38 years as a police officer, Simone was involved in several high-profile incidents. He shot 11 people in the line of duty, killing 5 of them. [1]

Oct 2, 2018 · Simone entered police work after serving in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne, where he earned two bronze stars and two purple hearts. As a cop, he never shied from danger. He was involved in numerous gun battles, and killed five people in the line of duty (all ruled justifiable).
