Joshiy (born 18 July 1952) is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema and also directed Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada-language films. Joshiy is a pioneer of action thriller films in Malayalam cinema and his films are known for its stylized imagery, color grading and film noir .
Director: Porinju Mariyam Jose. Joshiy was born on 19 July 1952 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. He is a director, known for Porinju Mariyam Jose (2019), Thanthram (1988) and Naduvaazhikal (1989). He is married to Sindhu.
Apart from Joju George, Joshiy retained Nyla Usha, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Vijayaraghavan, who were part of Porinju Mariam Jose. Kalyani Priyadarshan was signed to play the role of a professional boxer in the film.
