KAREN LEE STREET is an author, screenwriter and script editor. WRITING Edgar Allan Poe and the London Monster (2016/ 2017) is the first novel in a Poe & Dupin mystery trilogy, a 'what-if' tale based on a series of true crimes that occurred in London in the late eighteenth century.

KAREN LEE STREET is an author, screenwriter, and script editor with extensive experience in screenwriting training. She has written fiction and non-fiction, prize winning poetry and screenplays. Karen’s main writing interests are comedy and crime. (Billy Wilder is her hero.)
Karen Lee Street was born in Philadelphia, moved to London as a teenager, and currently resides in Newcastle, Australia. She is a writer with extensive experience in feature film script development; has taught screenwriting in the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Estonia and Latvia; and has a PhD in Writing from the University of South Wales.
