Mar 17, 2022 · Specialising in beautiful yet functional stoneware pottery, Kate Garwood has quietly built a renowned ceramics brand from her garden studio near the river. Here she tells us her story, from market stall to gallery shows.
Kate Garwood. Kate began pottery at Standpoint Studios in Shoreditch and was fortunate to have Nicola Tassie as her teacher. It was under Nicola’s guidance that she learnt the technical skills of pottery and the magic of creating ceramics, on a potter’s wheel.
