Michael J. Rogers (born June 2, 1963) is an American politician who served as the U.S. representative for Michigan's 8th congressional district from 2001 to 2015. A Republican , he is a former law enforcement officer and chaired the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence from 2011 to 2015.
As a State Senator, Mike worked to help families stay safe and succeed. He wrote the legislation that created Michigan’s 529 College Savings Program, helping families save for their children’s education.
