W latach 1947−1968 małżonka premiera Józefa Cyrankiewicza . Ze względu na swój dorobek artystyczny czasem nazywana „pierwszą damą polskiego teatru” [9] .

She was one of the first noted customers of the photographer Zofia Nasierowska. Andrycz told Nasierowska that she used a mirror to get the right look in her face.
