Essentially a melding of The Wild West and Feudal Japan, even if the setting also takes place in the future or has Cattle Punk elements. The earliest association between samurai and gunslinger tropes was probably Akira Kurosawa, who modeled several of his samurai films after American Westerns.
Plot. The film follows a Japanese businessman named Yutaka Sato [1] ( Hiromi Go ), a workaholic who lives in Tokyo, Japan. After the death of his best friend from a heart attack due to permanent stress at work, Sato becomes disillusioned with the busy Tokyo lifestyle that he leads.
