Sep 30, 2023 · The cemetery is open daily: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Individuals and families may walk or drive our grounds during visiting hours.We provide free maps in the literature box at the cemetery office located at 540 North Broadway.

Sleepy Hollow Cemetery is a non-profit, non-sectarian cemetery located in Sleepy Hollow, New York. At present there are nearly 46,000 interments on our 90 acres. Visiting hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm daily. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, closed major holidays.
For in the opening of the “Riverview Natural Burial Grounds”, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery has become part of a very small and elite group of burial places in the country, which afford the deceased a “natural” or “green” burial option.

The rules and regulations of the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, applicable to all lot owners and visitors, have been adopted to assure the beauty, welfare and sanctity of this historic place of sepulchre. The Superintendent is responsible for the enforcement of these regulations.
Sleepy Hollow Cemetery can confirm burial of specific individuals by date of death. Its records, continuous from 1849 through the present, include over 47,000 interments. Contact the office during business hours: Monday through Friday, except major holidays, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
