Nov 11, 2003 · A black comedy featuring two butchers, Svend "Sweat" and Bjarne, who start their own shop to get away from their arrogant boss. Cannibalism is soon introduced to the plot, and further complications arise due to the reappearance of Bjarne's intellectually disabled twin brother Eigil.
In "The Green Butchers," two disillusioned friends launch a butcher shop, but when an electrician's tragic accident leads to a twist of fate, their "chicken" becomes a bestseller. As demand grows, they face moral dilemmas and darkly comedic chaos.
Svend and Bjarne work for a butcher in a small Danish town. Unhappy with their boss' arrogance, they decide to open their own shop. After a dismal beginning, an unfortunate accident happens which coincides with a large order of meat. One hasty decision leads to another and soon the business thrives.
