As gold shipments from his Mexican mine are being stolen, Don Roberto Lopez sends for Jimmy Wakely to investigate the matter. When Jimmy stops to take a drink of water on his way to the mine, he is held up at gunpoint by dangerous thief The Texas Kid, who steals his clothes along with his letter of introduction to Don Roberto.
