Wimbledon College is a government-maintained, voluntary-aided, Jesuit Catholic secondary school and sixth form for boys aged 11 to 19 in Wimbledon, London. The college was founded in 1892 "for improvement in living and learning for the greater glory of God and the common good."
Admissions 2025. In September 2025, Wimbledon College will admit 199 boys to Figures (Year 7) without regard for aptitude or ability. The places will be offered according to the criteria set out in the 2025 Admissions Policy.
Opened in 1892, Wimbledon College is a Jesuit school and shares the traditions and values of the 2,500 Jesuit schools and universities worldwide. St Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Jesuits, wrote in 1450 of Jesuit schools being "for improvement in living and learning for the greater glory of God and the common good".

Jan 18, 2022 · Under the headmastership of Fr Robert Carty SJ, Wimbledon College again changed its status in 1968 to a voluntary aided comprehensive high school. The College has maintained this status into the twenty-first century.
