And the fact that I needed to link an account suggests to me that the issue is with the launcher login itself. Solution 2 - On the login screen in the Settings (cog symbol) I selected “Continue without Logging In”.
Mar 15, 2023 · Also check the other folders under C:\Program Files (x86)\Overwatch\data for any file (s) that are 0KB, these may be corrupted files and you can try moving said file (s) to the recycle bin then verify the game again in the Blizzard Launcher. 1 Like. Feb 22, 2024 · Short version, google for “battlenet download”. It should be the first hit. Select the “Download Battle.net for Windows and Mac” page to trigger the download. After downloading it, run it (took a LONG time for me after it reached about 90%), once it completed, the problem was resolved. 3 Likes.
Apr 28, 2020 · The launcher starts up okay, but trying to play Diablo II Resurrected results in a “Failure to authenticate” when I try to get to online characters. Fortunately ("-}), I know when things are in this broken state, because the two logo displays become extremely laggy and stuttering when things are in this state.
Feb 24, 2024 · This issue started about 2 days ago on the 21st. The game does not launch from the battle.net launcher. I click “Play” and the launcher says “Playing Now” but the game does not load. When I check the task manager, sometimes the “Diablo 4 Retail” process shows up, sometimes it does not. When it does show up, I use “End Task” to kill the process to attempt another re-launch. In ...

Dec 24, 2023 · I have same issue, after the latest update (the app interface changed), it will not launch correctly. Each time I open it, it gives me a transparent window, after I click the icon on the task bar, the window minimized and once restored, it becomes totally black. Now almost each time I open the Bnet app I have to uninstall then reinstall it. Then it will work.
