Or go all-in on the spin move with Quick Spin and Massive Spin and chuck giant self-healing death discs about. Tbh the only proper build with Guan Yu is charged skewer with Artemis on special.

Coming from a 20 heat guan yu main (During blood price, though there’s no spear changes in v1.0), here’s a few tips. Get it to max rank. Seriously. It’s unplayable otherwise. Don’t force a heal spin. Only do a spin when you are somewhat safe (You can dash while spinning, which will send the spin the the direction you are dashing.)

Guan Yu is a difficult aspect to use, do to the ridiculously high health penalty. My tips for making it easier to use are. Thick Skin, Fiery Presence, Abyssal Blood, Stubborn Defiance, Family Favorite, Stygian Soul, and Dark Regeneration. If you need to heal during a fight, wait to use the spin till a new wave is spawning.
