To cover spills and drops, or anything related to you, get accidental damage. If you're afraid your battery will die on you for any reason, get sealed battery. This is the ONLY thing that covers batteries.

Sep 15, 2020 · Hi all, just got an Ideapad 5 15 today. Office Depot (US) offers a 3-year Square Trade warranty w/ accidental damage coverage for $170. Lenovo offers their 3-year "onsite" support w/ accidental for $123. Which one should I get? Thank you. I hear horror stories about lenovo support.

Your covered for 2 years anyway.. however Lenovo’s warranty’s are cheaper then Alienwares, however with Dell you get next day service to your door. Yeah it's absolutely worth it, had some problems with my motherboard after a year of use, so, the warranty provided for free ran out.
Aug 24, 2023 · You can change the warranty start date. Click on the warranty option on the vantage software. In the redirected lenovo website there is an option to upload the invoice to change the date. Lenovo changes it after verification. This usually takes 3 days. 1.
Jul 5, 2022 · Yes. They are worth it. Especially that accidental damage. 2 years for sure. Plus with all that went down in 2020 and 2021 with technology and quality control kind of slipping through the cracks, I DEFINITELY extend warranties and add accidental protection with a minimum of 2 years. Especially if I'm dishing out 15 to 24 hundred dollars.
