Nov 12, 2023 · phroggies70. • 10 mo. ago. I go back and forth about subscribing to Mango. On one hand, it’s one of the cheapest services, and they often have really good shows. On the other hand, their subs are terrible, so if you’re going to rely on those, I wouldn’t bother.
Mar 22, 2022 · With Chromecast, the picture and video is sent over but then the subtitles scroll across the phone. I ended up having to just mirror the phone. I don't know if that's an option. It's not optimal because you lose some picture quality. 1.
Mar 3, 2022 · MangoTV is definitely bad news when it comes to subs - sometimes they don’t even bother to finish subbing a show! If you see a show you’re interested in, first, pray that it’s not on MangoTV. Second, go over to MyDramaList and look up the show. When you scroll down you should see where the show is available for viewing.

I won’t even watch a show of theirs unless it comes to Viki because I just can’t deal with the headache. The subs are either incomprehensible or sometimes, just gone.

I've had the sound cut out on me on several cdramas (not just MangoTV) and someone recently explained it to me that it's usually due to music licensing issues. They are only allowed to play that music in certain countries so they just mute in areas where they can't show it.
MangoTv dramas are only watchable when they the rights to other TV channels who actually make the effort to subs lol XD They do also a bit of their most but most of their shows have actually good sub thanks to their partnership. From my understanding though, great many of Mango shows have actually good subs ^^ Think its worth the try!
Sep 5, 2020 · I think MangoTV is not really good if you dont speak mandarin. Not just translation, for Gank Your Heart, the subtitle is 5 seconds too fast. So i have to play guessing game with subtitle and audio. But, some dramas are only available there, and its only $3. 8.

I even subscribe to their MangoTV App, but none of the new dramas have eng sub yet. Yes I know, it's very sad, and they don't even let us put subs on YouTube. I think it has to do with entering one's phone number. Make sure it includes your country code. The default country code is China and it keeps switching back to China.
