Dec 23, 2021 · All the dual 1Gbps or 2Gbps plans from Singapore ISPs have the same limitation because of the use of GPON technology. Download is up to 2Gbps combined, upload is up to 1Gbps. GPON: Theoretical max speed: 2.5 Gbit/s down, 1.25 Gbit/s up (ISPs can further limit the speed to 2Gbps download and 1Gbps upload).

May 16, 2018 · I have thought that MyRepublic Talk is only use for calling when you are overseas location ( not in Singapore) Yes. As long as you have... 1) login to the app. 2) Have internet connection in any country (4G or Wifi) you will be able to make calls in the app. You can even answer call in the app.

Jul 29, 2023 · M1/VQ used to have 10Gbps plan but stopped the offering. But VQ now takes over SI's 10Gbps customers (if the customer chooses to go with VQ). SIMBA will soon offer 10Gbps plan at S$32.69 per month (S$29.99 per month + 9% GST). Note: Starhub/MR 10Gbps plans are still trial until 30-June-2024.

M1 is the only major telco that offers eSIMs, but M1's cheapest SIM only plan is 80GB/month and too much for him. He is looking at the S$15/month plans of Circles.Life (50GB/month) and MyRepublic (60GB/month). He will likely pick Circles.Life because it has more flexible roaming options for travel, and has good customer service.
