Castalla, a pleasant friendly town, has a some interesting streets but the main reason to visit this sleepy place is the castle, which dominates the town. We knew it was closed for restoration work when we visited, having checked via e mail with the Castalla Tourist Information office who were most helpful, thank you Andres.
