Nov 27, 2023 · Since it hosted the first edition of the Australian Open in 1988, Melbourne Park – then known as Flinders Park – has undergone a multitude of changes.
Melbourne Park is a large sports complex and is most well known for hosting the Australian Open Grand Slam tennis tournament each year. It’s incredibly well positioned alongside the banks of the Yarra River, near Federation Square. Melbourne has organised their sporting precinct so well.
