Woodlands is located in the northern region of Singapore and is connected to Malaysia’s southernmost city, Johor Bahru, by the Johor-Singapore Causeway (convenient for a weekend trip across the border).
The prominent landmarks are the Woodlands Checkpoint, Causeway Point, Republic Polytechnic, Admiralty Park, Woodlands Waterfront, Marsiling Mall and so forth. But I am surprised to find a hill park with secondary forest behind the Marsiling Swimming Pool Complex. This is Woodlands Town Park East.
