There might be a cardiac cause that needs study. Heart problems can cause loss of consciousness with NO warning. A good neurologist might be a place to start.

  6. May 4, 2020 · I use Mucinex at night (or Robitussin DM which has the same ingredient). If I forget to take it before I go to sleep, I usually wake up and have to take it then. Keeping water by your bedside is also a good idea. Also, elevate your bed or at least use an extra pillow as was suggested by @julsbridget in the post above.
