A Little Princess is a children's novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, first published as a book in 1905. It is an expanded version of the short story "Sara Crewe: or, What Happened at Miss Minchin's", which was serialized in St. Nicholas Magazine from December 1887, and published in book form in 1888.

A Little Princess is a 1995 fantasy drama film directed by Alfonso Cuarón, based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It tells the story of a young girl who becomes a servant after her father's death in the Great War, but uses her imagination and kindness to change her fate.
Based on Frances Hodgson Burnett's novel, the film follows Sara Crewe, a young girl who believes she is a princess and faces hardships when her father goes to war and her school mistress becomes cruel. The film features Liesel Matthews, Eleanor Bron, Liam Cunningham and Alfonso Cuarón as director.
