Aashiqui is a 1989 Hindi film soundtrack composed by Nadeem–Shravan and written by Sameer, Rani Mallik and Madan Pal. It became the highest-selling Bollywood soundtrack of all time with around 2 crore units sold and influenced the revival of filmi-ghazal music in the early 1990s.
After Anu is finally free from both Arnie, the hostel and Uncle Peter, she wishes to become self-reliant and seeks admission in a typing institute. One day, she comes across a job advert searching for a typist, but the head of the "Jean Cardin" brand of clothes in Mumbai notices Anu and requests Anu to audition.
