Burgess Hill (/ ˌbɜːdʒəs ˈhɪl / ⓘ) is a town and civil parish in West Sussex, England, close to the border with East Sussex, on the edge of the South Downs National Park, 39 mi (63 km) south of London, 10 mi (16 km) north of Brighton and Hove, and 29 mi (47 km) northeast of the county town, Chichester.
Just a stone’s throw from the South Downs, Burgess Hill dates back to the 17th century when it was home to a flourishing brick and tile industry. It’s name orginates from a local family, the Burgey’s, who were renowned local farmers.

- John Garner G. Haywards Heath, UK4 contributions. Good Fun - Hygiene disaster. Local Swimming centre, ideal for kids as fun slides etc. Can be a ridiculous queue at peak times (or rainy days) and even with 3 staff members on it is very slow (and pretty warm)
