Donegall Pass is a suburb in Belfast, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Donegall Pass is situated nearby to Linen Quarter and Sandy Row.
Our History. The Earls of Donegall laid out six passes in Belfast from 1660 to 1700. One of these passes led through the dense Cromac Wood and was known as the Pass Loning. Later the name evolved and became Donegall Pass.
As part of Open Heritage 2020, Ulster Architectural Heritage and Belfast City Council take you on a tour to rediscover Donegall Place. Part of European Heritage Open Days. As we continue along the East side of Donegall Place, the new buildings immediately adjacent stand in striking contrast to Robinson & Cleaver's.

Close to the Markets area is the site of the former Belfast Gasworks, originally built in the 19th century and remaining open for its original purpose until 1988. [4] .
Donegall Square is a square in the centre of Belfast, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. In the centre is Belfast City Hall, the headquarters of Belfast City Council. Each side of the square is named according to its geographical location, i.e. Donegall Square North, South, East and West. It is named after the Donegall family.
