What is true about what you are hearing is that there lots of people who want to go to the cloud and Access does not, as yet play well in the cloud.

Jan 24, 2022 · The status on the desktop app appears to be defaulting to "away" while I'm actively working or in meetings, even if I manually intervene and try and set or reset status. My best guess is due to the teams app running in the background on my mobile device and going to "away" status.

Feb 13, 2024 · We are not employees of Microsoft. From my experience with Teams, the status will change from "Available" to "Away" after about 10 minutes of inactivity on the Teams application. This implies that you might be working on other applications and Teams would appear away. I believe this is the default Teams behaviour.
