Oct 5, 2017 · Future Retail, a subsidiary of Kishore Biyani's retail behemoth Future Group, bought HyperCity, a 19-store network of high-end grocery and merchandise retail, from Shoppers Stop Ltd in 2017. The acquisition was part of a stock-and-cash deal worth ₹655 crore, and was expected to be completed in 3-5 months.
