We are going to pressure the bank and submit a chargeback (I hope). As far as I am concerned, we ordered a product and Just Eat have failed to supply the goods.

Mar 13, 2023 · They refunded the cookies, no problem, but the meal came to £8.69, and they emailed me back to say that they had given me £4.35 Just Eat credit to (in their words) “cover the value of the affected items.” So I emailed back and said actually the affected item came to £8.69, so you haven’t covered the cost.

Jan 6, 2019 · Just Eat have no customer security. If a restaurant lies about a delivery being made, but tells Just Eat they did deliver, that is the only evidence needed for them. More and more takeaways are figuring this out, and selectively scamming people. Say, 10% of orders. The payment is made to Just Eat.
Mar 13, 2023 · Op just eat are terrible, I’ve had a lot of issues with them and have now closed my account, I can understand why you want a refund, but just eat really don’t care, and I don’t think you will get a refund, my advice would be to vote with your feet.
Dec 19, 2018 · JUST EAT hideous charges. I noticed that Just Eat in my area introduced several food shops that traditionally never had delivery facilities. These shops come with a hefty cost of £2 for delivery. A bit pricey considering they do e.g. 20 deliveries in an hour, but hey, you can say it's alright.

The girl on the phone spoke to the manager and came back and said 'it's our policy that we don't speak to banks. It's just something we will not do, ever'.
Apr 30, 2024 · If that’s the case, Just Eat probably won’t be able to remove it themselves but you’d need to work with the review site to get it amended/removed. Anybody could use your address at any time. They could just pick it randomly. Unless you gave your age on the review nobody will know your age.
